Rumors, Rumors, Rumors....
As a photographer would say I use a "shit walmart camera" but you know whats hilarious, thats coming from someone who's just starting in the industry, hasn't done half of what I've done with my "shit walmart Camera" I've done everything from events of dances to football games, to families, children to lingerie shots to implied nude.
I do what I'm asked to do.. I do what I'm hired to do. Very rarely do I ever say lets do this, yes I do bring ideas into my shoots, or before the shoot I have the ideas and explain them to the girls that show an interest in what I want to do. But other than that, thats as far as it goes. I have never made ANYONE feel uncomfortable during a shoot..
Rumor 1:
I prostitute my models out
Rumor 2:
I film porn
Rumor 3:
I ask underage models to go topless
Rumor 4:
I call autistic children retards and I guess I told my "Assistant" That if I knew they'd be retarded I would have charged more.
Rumor 5:
I soliticate prostitution to minors.
As for Rumor 1, 2, 5. I'd love to see where all of this money from all of these porn prostitution stuff's coming from. But the funny part is, check with any of the models that I've worked with, they'll tell you. As Brittany Bent, one of my friends/regular models said that she'd tell anyone, she feels safe with me. If I was to pick her up from school at any time she would feel SAFE. Thats her words not mine, and I'm sure she'd be willing to tell you that.
As for Rumor 3 - Again check with all of the underage models that I have worked with. Guarenteed every single one of them will laugh in your face.
As for Rumor 4. I know the person that started this rumor, its my ex husbands fiancee, of course they're going to try to make me look bad.. You know, you may have the cute little happy family, and the "ohh, I love you moments" But yet, I'm doing fine on my own and I think the only reason that you're trying to bring me down is because you're jealous. Your both tied down with kids and family duties. Me, I'm making something for myself, fyi a company you tried to call you own (Ha!! Its called Photosbyash). So yes your 4 children are autistic, but not once did I ever do photos for you two, The only time I was around your kids was the night that I caught my exhusband with you people, and the night that I took him his stuff, other than that I have not been within sight distance of either of you, But if you have the "pictures" that i've done for you go ahead and show me, i'd love to see the work i've done for you. Also If you know the name on the "assistant" that I had at that time please let me know. I've only had my friend Murissa go with me to like 2 photo shoots, so... please enlighten me, I'd love to hear this.
For the people that are reading this, if you're looking to work with me please ask for refrences that are legit... I will give you names of people that I have ACTUALLY worked with, not the people that like to spread the hersay without working with me, nor talking or meeting me as well. Also If you have any concerns feel free to contact me, I'm honestly sick and tired of these rumors going around and I would LOVE to get them stopped because 1. if I didn't do it, its my name on the line and 2. If I did do it, I would admit it.
SO please people show me the truth, show me the proof, put words in my mouth. But you know whats the best part? I'm willing to admit that they're there, and that I'm trying to fight them because I'm sorry.
Its not a matter of how much money you make, or how many hot girls you have. Its doesn't matter if these "models" have been paid for their photos, or if they've paid for their photos. Every girl has their own inner beauty and should be shown in their own individual way.
I love what I do. Its not about the money -- The money is just there for a side help *time it takes to edit, time i spend taking photos, gas, disc* for the smaller shoots that I do, I do it because I love it. I don't charge outstanding prices because I don't believe you need to have a high wage to do something that you love. Have you ever asked yourself why a teacher teaches but yet they make crap for pay?!?! Ask one.. They'll tell you because its what they love to do. I've had previous teachers tell me, what pays them is seeing the light turn on when a student finally gets it. Well what lights me up with what I do is when I have a customer that leaves my house after picking up their disc with a large smile on their faces or when they're going through the pictures on the camera to see how the shoot turned out, thats what makes me feel good about what I do.
I may use a small camera, I may hate the camera that I use, but the best part is, is that I have multiple editing programs to help enhance the photos, I make sure I take my time on the photos. And when I'm shooting the photos I'm sorry but I have an eye. I'm not just a G.W.C. I have a passion for what I do. It's what I want to do, and thats where I want things taking me. I love to do a shoot, try new things, meet new people. I've done nothing but try to be involved just like everyone else and instead I get beat down just because I use a small camera? Well the thing is, I started from the bottom and I'm working my way up to the top. No I have not gotten there yet,but I'm working on it. Not everyone has the luxury of making $10 an hour or having a second income.
Basically I do this because I love it, and I'm not going to quit just because a few people say a few bad things about me.

Burlesque Shoot!
I just recently posted a casting call on MM (Model Mayhem) to due a shoot based off of the Burlesque Movie from 2010 with Christina Augelira (or however you spell it) and Cher.
1. If you haven't seen that movie, that is Definitely a movie that you want to see!
2. If you have you know what I'm talking about.
I'm planning to have a large group of girls (dressed in outfits based off of the movie, and I would like to have some male models to be based off the bartenders uniform (black pants, white shirt, black suspenders, and black top hat)
I would like a couple other photographers to work with on this project, I need at least 8 females, and 6-8 Males. MUA's would be awesome if you know of any that would like to join in, Hair artists are a plus too. My roommate is a MUA and Hair but I couldn't see her doing everyone, and you would just need to bring your own make up for her to work on with you.
I plan on looking for an indoor club to use this idea with, hopefully one with a stage (preferably with stairs) tables with chairs, and preferably a bar on the side. If anyone knows of any place that would fit this description please let me know.
I think this would be an amazing shoot with a few photographers, great models, we can make some magic :D
So if your interested let me know asap!
Also, if you've never modeled before *THATS NOT A WORRY!* I'm looking for new and old and trust me it'll be an experience that you will never forget!
