Also! The weather is getting much warmer! We had a small storm today and a couple more, but lately we've had the better looking days more than the crappy stormy ones!
Theres so many places getting ready to bloom! Pictures are about to get even more beautiful!
So far the specials that are being planned beginning April 1st, are for Mothers day and for Easter
Individual session! $25
Couples Session! $35
Families! $40 **NO matter the size!** **Per Family**
All sessions include everything as the regular price! Everyone is promised their disc within 2 weeks of the date of their shoot!
So if you plan to get family easter pictures get it booked FAST!
Mothers day photos -- you've got a little time but to guarentee them back by May 10th! I'd get booking the time slots are filling up!
Times that I CAN NOT book!
Mon, Tues, Thurs, Friday - 9-5 *(I work!)* You can book a session for 5:30pm though.
Saturdays - 9-6 *(I work!)*
Im off Wednesdays and Sundays.
I plan 2 1/2 hours between each shoot.
Gives me time to charge the camera, upload images, and get everything finished with customers!

Changes as of April 1st
As we all know photosbyash is one of the greatest prices in the wasatch front! But I think just a little bit more wouldn't hurt. I'm using all the money that I make working under Photosbyash and putting it back into my company for (camera saving, liting, website, ads etc) and right now as the prices that I do have is just barely covering my gas. I will still run specials, I will still give exisitng customer discounts and I will give a small discount for customers that were refered as well as the referie a bonus as well.
Individual Shoots: This genre can count as, senior portriats, pictures for your men or women, model shots (one shoot), just for fun, kid portraits. All it is is ONE person!
My current price for an individual shoot is $25. As of the first of April it will go to $35.
Couple Sessions: This genre counts as any two people. Mom/daughter, dad/son, romantic couples, engagements, best friends, etc.
Current pricing for couple sessions are $35. As of the first of April it will go to $45.
Families/Group sessions: Families and Groups are pretty self explainatory.
Current Pricing for 3-5 people is $35, As of april first it is going to $50. If it is 3-10 it is $55, 3-15 $60, and so on and so forth.
Events such as birthdays, baby showers, concerts, dances and any sport events.
Current prices for events are $50. For a 2 hour event price is going to $75. An additional $20 per hour of the event.
For those who are just having a small wedding/reception: Currently $150 going to $175.
Wedding Packages:
Package Love --
Engagements or Bridals, Wedding ceremony/reception - $250 deposit - $50 - The $50 secures your date to where I am able to take the time off. The remainder must be paid in full by beginning of wedding.
Package Passion --
Engagements, Bridals, wedding ceremony/reception - $300 deposit - $50 - The $50 secures your date to where I am able to take the time off. The remainder must be paid in full by beginning of wedding.
Package Forever --
Engagements, Bridals, rehearsal dinner or bachlor/bachlorette party, ceremony/recetion -- $350 deposit - $75 - The $75 secures your date to where I am able to take the time off. The remainder must be paid in full by beginning of wedding.
Package Eternity --
Engagements, layouts for invites, Bridals, rehearsal dinner or bachlor/bachlorette party, ceremony/recetion -- $375
deposit - $80 - The $80 secures your date to where I am able to take the time off. The remainder must be paid in full by beginning of wedding.
Modeling Portfolios: Current price $50 for 5 sessions. April 1st -- $100 Including 6 photoshoots on different days, headshots, body shots, themes and more!
Blacklight Shoots: Current Price is $30 per person. That will remain the same unless you bring a friend! If you bring a friend it will go to $25 per person.
There is a $15 deposit on all blacklight shoots in the future. I don't like the idea of everyone signing up, then only 2 showing up. So if your serious there is a deposit.
Whats included in these prices?
...Every session comes with an un-interrupted 2 hours MAX of shooting. Normally I shoot until we all feel comfortable of what we have.
...A digital disc of all images, including the originals.
...Copyright release! That way your able to print as many photos as you like!
...A discount for a future session!
...Minimum of 20 digital enhanced photos.
...Unlimited outfit changes (keep in mind you only have 2 hours!)
...2 locations (time for travel will not be deducted) (One rule! HAS to be within 20 miles from first original location.
...Post on blog!

Why I require a deposits on weddings - I need to make sure that I have the time off for the wedding date. I work a regular daytime job, but I have it worked out to where I can miss the time at work, but I am NOT going to take the day off and then have a cancellation.
Cancellations -- I put 2 and a half hours away for shoots that are scheduled. Therefore thats time of mine that I could be doing, more hours at work, cleaning, laundry, errands, etc. If you plan to cancel I need at least 48 hour notice. I dont want to be waiting at the scene of the shoot for you not to show up.

The ones who started it all!
My best friend, Janae and her husband Cody, asked me to do their christmas card photos in december 2009. It was the first photo shoot I had done and Janae and I were talking about it this morning, and personally it was my least favorite of them all.
As time went on, I did a few more photoshoots and it was time for the engagments!
After our engagement session I was up at McKay Dee with my (soon to be EX) husband. A good day gone bad.. Oh well. I was planning on doing the rest of Janae's wedding photos, but that lovely (soon to be EX) husband wouldn't let me take the car to St. George for the weekend. So not only did I miss my best friends wedding, Miss the first wedding I would have ever shot, but I also lost a moment that every best friend should see!
That was one of the last times that I seen Janae for a while, (soon to be EX) husband didn't approve.... So when we broke up we began talking again :D Right after that Janae and Cody moved to St George. But the lucky thing is, they were down for Christmas in 2010 :D
Janae and Cody have been great friends for years! They are the ones who got me started, and they are the ones who I'll owe everything to! Because without them, Photosbyash Would never have Started!

Bad News of Photosbyash
Last night I recieved a call from a previous/future customer.. Her fiance knows my ex husbands girlfriend and what was being said is that HE used to be the owner of Photosbyash --- haha! 1. Photosbyash is NOT nor would ever be photosbyjake.... 2. he did two photoshoots, 1 with me being there, and 2 when i was at work. The photos that this customer wanted was a nude session and the way he tells the story is that the girls went to him, he turned it down due to "being married" and had me do it. In reality they came to me when I was looking to do artistic nudes to add to my portfolio. I want everyone to be aware that he is lying. if theres any questions or concerns due to my name of Photosbyash please come to me with it. my email is - ashleebybee@hotmail.com. I have worked hard under my Photosbyash for anyone to fake it as me or to think it is theirs.
